Justin Allgaier Justin Allgaier
2008-2010

Allgaier made 74 race starts with Team Penske and produced one victory and three poles over three seasons. Before making the full-time move over to Team Penske, Allgaier won the 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series Championship driving for his family-owned team. In 2009, Allgaier won NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) Rookie of the Year honors in his first season with Team Penske. Allgaier’s first and only victory with the team came at the NXS race at Bristol Motor Speedway in 2010 after starting from the 30th position.
Bobby Allison Bobby Allison

The most accomplished member of the famed “Alabama Gang,”  NASCAR Hall of Famer Allison made 66 combined starts for Team Penske during his four-year stint with the team. This included 59 starts in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competition with a total of four victories in the AMC Matador sponsored by Coca-Cola. In addition, he scored one win in USAC Stock Car competition at Texas World Speedway in 1976.
Donnie Allison Donnie Allison

Allison made one NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start for Team Penske in the 1972 Golden State 400 at Riverside (Calif.) International Raceway. After posting a sixth-place starting position in the AMC Matador, Allison worked his way up through the field to finish third behind Ray Elder and Benny Parsons.
AJ Allmendinger AJ Allmendinger

Allmendinger competed in 17 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races in 2012 for Team Penske, as he earned a best finish of second at Martinsville Speedway and won the pole at Kansas Speedway. In 2013, Allmendinger competed in two NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) races for the team. He captured his first-career NXS victory when he won from the pole at Road America. Just a few weeks later, at Mid-Ohio, Allmendinger led 73 laps and won his second NXS race of the season. That season,  llmendinger also competed in six Verizon IndyCar Series races for Team Penske, including the Indianapolis 500, where he led 23 laps late in the race before finishing seventh.
Bill Alsup Bill Alsup
1981

A native of Honolulu, Alsup was INDYCAR Rookie of the Year in 1979. He drove in nine INDYCAR, including the Indianapolis 500 for Team Penske in 1981 where he finished in the 11th position. A model of consistency, Alsup finished second in the 1981 INDYCAR championship standings despite a season-best finish of third.
Marcos Ambrose Marcos Ambrose

Ambrose returned to his home country of Australia in 2015 to race the No. 17 Ford FG X Falcon in the V8 Supercars for legendary racing icons Dick Johnson and Roger Penske and their newly formed DJR Team Penske operation. A former V8 Supercars Champion (2003 and 2004), Ambrose ran four races in 2015 and also co-drove with teammate Scott Pye in the endurance races late in the season.
Mario Andretti Mario Andretti
1976-1980

One of the most accomplished and well known racecar drivers in motorsports history, Andretti made 23 INDYCAR starts for Team Penske from 1976-1980. He won twice for the team at Trenton (N.J.) Speedway in 1978 and at Michigan International Speedway in 1980. Andretti was named “Driver of the Century” by the Associated Press and RACER Magazine in 2000.
Alex Barron Alex Barron
1999, 2003

Barron raced for Team Penske in two INDYCAR 500-mile races at  Michigan International Speedway and Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, (Calif.) during the 1999 season. Barron made an additional start at Motegi in 2003 as a replacement driver for the injured Gil de Ferran, where he scored his best finish with the team.
Timo Bernhard Timo Bernhard

A veteran road racer, Bernhard began driving for Team Penske in the Porsche RS Spyder in 2006, winning four American Le Mans Series (ALMS) races and finishing on the podium eight times in 10 races, including the overall victory at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. In 2007, Bernhard and teammate Romain Dumas had one of the best seasons in ALMS history as they won eight out of 12 races in class and posted six overall victories. Bernhard and Dumas ended the 2007 season with six-straight class wins en route to the LMP2  Championship. Bernhard and Dumas captured the 2008 ALMS LMP2 Championship after winning four races and finishing on the podium nine times.
Gary Bettenhausen Gary Bettenhausen

A veteran road racer, Bernhard began driving for Team Penske in the Porsche RS Spyder in 2006, winning four American Le Mans Series (ALMS) races and finishing on the podium eight times in 10 races, including the overall victory at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. In 2007, Bernhard and teammate Romain Dumas had one of the best seasons in ALMS history as they won eight out of 12 races in class and posted six overall victories. Ryan Blaney Ryan Blaney

One of the most promising young stars in NASCAR, Blaney enters his fifth season with Team Penske in 2016. Blaney has run a limited NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) schedule for the team and has won four races in 37 starts. Blaney also helped guide the No. 22 team to their past three NXS Owners’ Championships for Roger Penske. In 2015, Blaney also competed in 16 Sprint Cup Series races with Wood Brothers Racing who is a Team Penske technical partner.
Chad Blount Chad Blount
2004

Blount made one career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start for Team Penske, driving the No. 06 Mobil 1 Dodge at Talladega  Superspeedway in 2004. Blount started 31st and finished 41st after experiencing engine problems in the race.

Geoff Brabham Geoff Brabham
1989
- INDYCAR
Brabham, a native of New South Wales, Australia, made one INDYCAR start for Team Penske at Portland (Ore.) International Raceway, in 1989. Brabham qualified fourth and completed 89 of 104 laps before a radiator issue sidelined him for the day.
Ryan Briscoe Ryan Briscoe
2007-2012

Briscoe made a total of 100 race starts for Team Penske between 2007 and 2012, across INDYCAR and sports car competition. Briscoe produced four Team Penske ALMS victories and seven Team Penske INDYCAR wins, including the team’s 300th all-time victory when he captured the checkered flag at the Milwaukee Mile in 2008. Briscoe also earned three front row starts at the Indianapolis 500, including winning the pole position in 2012 with Team Penske.
Bob Brown Bob Brown

Brown made one start with Team Penske as he teamed with George Wintersteen and Joe Welch in the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona. The trio drove the No. 6 Chevrolet Camaro but the team was forced to retire after completing 456 laps in the endurance classic.
Ronnie Bucknum Ronnie Bucknum

 Bucknum made six starts for Team Penske during the 1969 season. He teamed with Mark Donohue in the 12 Hours of Sebring where they captured the pole position for their class. In the race, however, the team had to retire with a mechanical issue just shy of completing 100 laps. Bucknum posted two victories that season for Team Penske in the Trans-Am Series, capturing the checkered flag at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and Pacific Raceways in Kent, Wash.
Kurt Busch Kurt Busch

A former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion, Busch made his debut in 2006 behind the wheel of the famous No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge and won one race with six pole positions in his first season. He won 10 Cup Series racesover his six-year career driving the No. 2 and No. 22 machines for Team Penske. One of his biggest victories with the team came in the 2010 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race. Busch also earned three career NASCAR XFINITY Series victories during his time with the team. In 2008 he raced in the 24 Hours of Daytona, finishing third with teammates Helio Castroneves and Ryan Briscoe.

The longest-tenured driver in Team Penske history, Castroneves is a three-time Indianapolis 500 Champion winning the event in 2001, 2002 and 2009. In addition to his Indy 500 titles, Castroneves has won a total of 30 races for Team Penske and has earned 45 poles in the INDYCAR Series placing him fourth on the all-time list. Continuing to work for his first series title, Castroneves seems to always be in the championship hunt as he has finished second in the point standings four times in his career.

Kevin Cogan Kevin Cogan

Cogan competed in the 1982 Indianapolis 500 for Team Penske and competed in 11 races in the 1982 INDYCAR season. In 1982, he finished in the top five in five races with a third-place finish at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) and a second-place effort at Pocono Raceway as his top results. Cogan earned two pole positions that year at Cleveland and Riverside (Calif.) International Raceway. He also contributed to three front row qualifying sweeps with teammate Rick Mears at the Milwaukee Mile, Pocono and Michigan International Raceway.
Emmanuel Collard Emmanuel Collard
2006-2008

Collard, the French road-racing veteran, served as a co-driver in the Porsche RS Spyder LMP2 for the long distance ALMS races between 2006 and 2008. Collard ran two races in each of the three seasons, earning two wins, including the 2006 Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta and the 2008 12 Hours of Sebring, where the team claimed the overall victory in addition to the class win.
