Career Highlights

2017
Completes seventh season with Richard Childress Racing (RCR). Earns two top-five, three top-10 and nine top-15 results to finish 23rd in Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) standings. Races in seven NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) events and posts two top-five and three top-10 finishes.

2016
Completes 10th full-time season in the NASCAR Cup Series. Captures three top-10 finishes to end up 25th in series points. Contests eight NXS races with RCR and captures four top-five and six top-10 finishes.

2015
Earns first career berth in the NASCAR Playoffs and finishes the season ranked 14th in points driving the No. 27 car for RCR.  Posts two top-five, five top-10 and 21 top-15 finishes. Also makes eight XFINITY Series starts and wins at Road America for his third career series victory. Finishes the NXS season with three top-five and six top-10 results.

2014
Records a single-season career-best five top-five and 13 top-10 results en-route to a 21st-place finish in the MENCS standings. Competes in eight XFINITY Series races and wins at Michigan for his second career victory. 

2013
Earns three top-five and nine top-10 finishes to end the season ranked 17th in the Cup Series championship standings.

2012
Finishes the season 16th in the MENCS point standings behind one top-five and nine top-10 finishes. Leads all Cup Series competitors in laps completed (10,406 of 10,442). Competes in four NXS races for RCR, winning his fifth career series pole position.

2011
Joins the RCR team. Earns first career Cup Series victory by taking the checkered flag in the Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Completes season with four top-five and eight top-10 finishes and 82 laps led to finish 17th in the driver championship standings. Races in seven NXS events and captures two poles and seven top-10 finishes.

2010
Delivers one top-five and six top-10 finishes for Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) after the Yates Racing RPM merger. Menard also returns to full-time XFINITY Series competition driving the No. 98 entry for Roush Fenway Racing. Produces career-best championship result by finishing fifth in the driver championship point standings.

2009
Joins Robert Yates Racing (RYR) to drive the No. 98 car inn MENCS competition. Also makes 16 NXS starts for RYR and posts an average finishing position of 15.6.

2008
Wins his first career MENCS pole award by clocking a speed of 185.916 mph in Coke Zero 400 qualifying at Daytona International Speedway.

2007
Becomes a full-time competitor in the NASCAR Cup Series racing the No. 15 car for the Dale Earnhardt Inc. (DEI) team.

2006
Earns first career XFINITY Series victory with win at The Milwaukee Mile. Leads 85 laps to edge out Denny Hamlin for the victory. Posts seven top-five and 16 top-10 finishes to close the season sixth in the NXS driver points standings.

2005
Records six top-five and 15 top-10 finishes and on the way to claiming sixth in the NXS driver championship standings. Wins second career series pole position by topping qualifying at Talladega.

2004
Competes in 14 XINITY Series races for Andy Petree Racing, before joining forces with Dale Earnhardt, Inc. Earns his first career NXS pole award at Kansas Speedway in October.

2003
Makes first career ARCA Racing Series start at Salem Speedway with Andy Petree Racing. Wins first ARCA career pole award at Winchester Speedway and captures a first series win at Talladega Superspeedway.  Makes series debuts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at The Milwaukee Mile, the XFINITY Series at Nashville Superspeedway and Cup Series debut at Watkins Glen International.

2002
Posts NASCAR Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series wins at the Auto Club Speedway road course and Phoenix International Raceway.

2001
Joins the NASCAR Challenge Series and captures the pole and race victory at Road America during his rookie season.
