GOING FOR THREE: Team Penske is looking to make it three NASCAR Cup Series wins in a row following back-to-back Sundays with trips to Victory Lane. Austin Cindric and the No. 2 team captured the organization's first win of the 2025 season in a photo-finish at Talladega Superspeedway, followed by Joey Logano and the No. 22 crew claiming the victory at Texas Motor Speedway. Practice and qualifying in the Sunflower State showed that Team Penske's stable has what it takes to get it done again and add a seventh win at Kansas to the team's stat card. Logano led the effort with a fifth-place starting spot, putting him in a optimal position to take his fourth victory at the 1.5-mile speedway. Blaney secured his 14th top-10 qualifying effort at Kansas for what will be his 21st start there, while Cindric prepares to line up 13th in the hunt for his career-best at the midwest track.
HEAR FROM LOGANO: "We made a lot happen last week with a much worse starting spot, so this is a great start to the weekend for our Shell-Pennzoil Ford Mustang. We'll see how it handles over the long run tomorrow, but having this track position to fire off makes a difference at these mile-and-a-halves."
TUNE IN ON SUNDAY: Coverage of Sunday's 400.5-mile race at Kansas Speedway kicks off at 3:00 p.m. ET on FS1, with live radio coverage on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
