NASCAR Cup Qualifying Report - All-Star Heat Races

May 17, 2025

NASCAR All-Star Race
North Wilkesboro, N.C. - May 17, 2025

Joey Logano: 4th

Ryan Blaney: 7th

Austin Cindric: 16th

TUNE-UP FOR TOMORROW NIGHT: 20 of the 23 starting positions in tomorrow night's NASCAR All-Star Race were set via two 75-lap heat races. Both races had a competition caution at or around lap 30.

WHAT THEY SAID: "The track is super wide. I mean, you saw the 20 (Christopher Bell), he was up by the wall. I was surprised three and four hasn't widened out much more than it has. It may tomorrow night because I feel like last year was a little wider in three and four, but one and two is serviceable in every single lane, so that makes it pretty fun. It's hard to pass because every lane is strong, so it's hard to complete passes, but there are definitely options to try to get clean air."- Joey Logano

TUNE-IN TOMORROW NIGHT: Coverage begins at 5:30 p.m. ET with the NASCAR Open Race, which will see two drivers race their way into the field with an additional through the fan vote. All-Star Race coverage begins at 8:00 p.m. ET on FS1, with live radio coverage on MRN and Sirius XM NASCAR Radio.
