GATEWAY MOMENTUM: NASCAR Cup Series drivers took to the 1.25-mile oval at World Wide Technology Raceway on Saturday afternoon for practice and qualifying, setting the stage for Sunday's Enjoy Illinois 300. This weekend marks the fourth running of a Cup Series event at the St. Louis-area track, where Team Penske has already established a winning record. Team Penske drivers have claimed victory in two of the first three races at WWTR, with Joey Logano scoring the inaugural win in 2022 and Austin Cindric capturing the checkered flag last season. Logano has been a model of consistency at the venue, finishing inside the top five in all three starts, giving him an average finish of 3.0. Cindric has also thrived at the 1.25-mile oval, with an average finish of 8.33, his best mark among all Cup Series tracks.

RACE DAY RUNDOWN: The green flag is set to wave just after 3 p.m. ET Sunday on USA Network, with live radio coverage available on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90).
