Pennzoil 400
Las Vegas, Nevada - March 15, 2025
Joey Logano: 2nd
Austin Cindric: 3rd
Ryan Blaney: 36th
LOGANO'S THOUGHTS: "It's a different qualifying session than we typically have here. Usually the handling comes into play a little bit more than it did there - [it looked like] all the cars handled pretty well. A lot more wide open time from everybody. Two weeks in a row to be that close to the pole and not get one hurts a little bit. But overall, we have a good Pennzoil Ultra Platinum Ford Mustang in qualifying trim. We have a little work to do in race trim, but I think I know where some of that is. Hopefully we can make some of those adjustments and stay up front."
BACK AT VEGAS: The NASCAR Cup Series wraps up its "West Coast Swing" this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a track where Team Penske has collected seven Cup Series victories. Joey Logano secured the team's most recent win at the 1.5-mile oval last October, a key moment in his path to the championship. On-track action kicked off Saturday morning with practice and qualifying for Sunday's Pennzoil 400. During practice, Ryan Blaney had a right-rear tire go down and made contact with the wall in Turn 2. With repairs underway to the primary car in the garage, Blaney was unable to post a qualifying lap.
TUNE IN ON SUNDAY: Coverage of Sunday's Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET on FS1, with live radio coverage on PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
