MIDWEST MOMENTUM: The NASCAR Cup Series returns to Iowa Speedway this weekend for just the second time in series history. Located in Newton, Iowa, approximately 30 miles east of Des Moines, the .875-mile short track was added to the Cup Series schedule in 2024. Team Penske's Ryan Blaney dominated that inaugural event, leading the most laps on his way to victory in the No. 12 Ford Mustang. Including Sunday's Iowa Corn 350, only four races remain in the regular season, with Watkins Glen, Richmond and Daytona still to come as teams fight for position ahead of the NASCAR Playoffs.
CINDRIC SAID IT: "I think we're going to have a lot of different strategies throughout the race, and it's going to be important to be on the right one. I didn't wake up this morning thinking that we were going to be running up the racetrack, let alone for qualifying, so it's been a bit different than I expected. You just have to adapt to the changes."
RACE DAY RUNDOWN: The green flag is set to wave just after 3:30 p.m. ET Sunday on USA Network, with live radio coverage available on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90).
