Notes:

  • Ryan Blaney led Team Penske in the first practice session at Pocono on Saturday morning, posting the 11th best overall speed. He was followed by Joey Logano (16th) and Brad Keselowski (28th). Keselowski experienced a vibration early in the session and then his team replaced the driveshaft. Immediately after practice the No. 2 team also replaced the power steering unit. Blaney was also the top Team Penske driver in final practice with the eighth best overall speed ahead of Logano (11th) and Keselowski (22nd).
  • Logano led Team Penske in qualifying for the Gander RV 400, claiming the second-place starting position behind fellow Ford driver Kevin Harvick. Keselowski bounced back from his issues earlier in the day to qualify 14th followed by Blaney who will line up 16th on the grid.
