Today, Hunt Brothers Pizza and Team Penske unveiled their 2024 paint scheme set to adorn two-time NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) Champion Joey Logano’s No. 22 Ford Mustang for three races this season.
The leading convenience store pizza brand’s first primary race on Logano’s car will be at Phoenix Raceway on March 10. The event will mark the 16-year veteran’s 400th Cup Series start for Team Penske. Hunt Brothers Pizza will again return on June 23 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway - the Middletown, Connecticut native’s home track and the site of his first Cup Series win in 2009. Their final primary race of 2024 will come on October 27 at Homestead-Miami Speedway – the location of Logano’s first Cup Series championship in 2018 and the second race in the Round of 8 in the NASCAR Playoffs.
Hunt Brothers Pizza will also be an associate sponsor on defending NCS Champion Ryan Blaney’s No. 12 Ford Mustang for the 2024 season.
“We’re excited and honored to bring Hunt Brothers Pizza on board this season,” said Logano. “Their commitment to excellence both on the track and in the marketplace – in addition to their longstanding support of motorsports – makes Hunt Brothers Pizza a perfect fit at Team Penske. I look forward to racing the No. 22 Hunt Brothers Pizza Ford Mustang in 2024, and we hope to see those popular green colors in Victory Lane this season.”
The 2024 NCS season begins on Sunday, February 4 with the Clash at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum as the West Coast exhibition race opens the series schedule for the third-consecutive year. The 66th running of the Daytona 500 will be held on Sunday, February 18.
