Notes:

Will Power made it two-for-two in P1 Awards for the 2019 season, capturing his 56th-career pole position on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural INDYCAR Classic at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas.  Power, driver of the No. 12 Verizon Dallara/Chevrolet, made his fast lap coming to the checkers and knocking Alexander Rossi off the top spot.  The pole was also Power’s 50th for Team Penske, tying him with Mark Donohue for third all-time with the team.  Josef Newgarden and the No. 2 PPG Dallara/Chevrolet was the fastest the first round, but could only muster the seventh quick time in Round 2, just missing out on the Firestone Fast Six.  Simon Pagenaud, driving the No. 22 Menards Dallara/Chevrolet, once again fell victim to a red flag during his group session in the first round of qualifying.  Pagenaud was not allowed to complete his fast lap as the red flag came out due to a spin by another car at the end of the session. He will start 22nd.
