About IMSA

The International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) has been sanctioning races in North America since 1969. IMSA's flagship series competes at 11 of North America's leading sports car venues. Competition takes place in five classes - Grand Touring Prototype (GTP), Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2), Le Mans Prototype 3 (LMP3), GT Daytona Pro (GTD PRO) and GT Daytona (GTD) - and brings together renowned drivers with leading manufacturers for some of the world's biggest sports car events, such as the Rolex 24 At Daytona and Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.

Porsche Penske Motorsport will be competing in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with two full-season GTP class entries - the No. 6 and No. 7 Porsche 963s - in 2023.
