Team Manager, NASCAR


Jefferson HodgesJefferson Hodges serves as NASCAR team manager for Team Penske, overseeing a wide range of administrative and competition-related responsibilities across Team Penske’s NASCAR Cup Series program.

Hodges joined Team Penske ahead of the 2019 season following an accomplished tenure at Rev Racing, where he served as general manager and director of competition. During his time there, he oversaw the organization’s ARCA Menards Series, Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series and Legend Car Series teams while also managing a comprehensive driver development program.

In addition to his management experience, Hodges brings extensive trackside expertise, having worked as a crew chief across multiple divisions, including the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, ARCA Menards Series and Late Models. His diverse background has provided him with a well-rounded understanding of competition operations at every level of the sport.

A native of Williamsburg, Virginia, Hodges had previously collaborated with Team Penske prior to officially joining the organization, serving as a spotter for select events across its NASCAR programs. Those efforts included race wins with Sam Hornish Jr. in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, Austin Cindric in ARCA and a victory with Brad Keselowski in the 2018 Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Hodges has also served as the spotter for Team Penske NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver Josef Newgarden, playing a key role in Newgarden’s Indianapolis 500 victories in 2023 and 2024.

Hodges and his wife, Cindi, have two sons, Presley and Liam, and reside in Huntersville, N.C.
